FMD Compass is the internal marine compliance and operational information portal for Foyle & Marine Dredging Ltd.
The portal gives FMD vessel crews and authorised personnel straightforward access to current operational forms, vessel checklists, Safety Management System documents, company policies, MLC information and ISO procedures.
FMD Compass supports consistent working practices across the fleet by making important information available in one place, whether personnel are onboard a vessel, working at a marine project or operating from shore.
Access is restricted to approved FMD personnel. Users must always refer to the latest controlled version available through the portal and follow vessel-specific instructions, risk assessments, permits and directions issued by the Master or company management. FMD Compass supports—but does not replace—professional judgement, statutory requirements or the authority of the vessel’s Master.
